The Schaumburg Township District Library is a welcoming, comfortable library to access for research materials, study for class, or have a leisurely read. The staff is friendly and helpful, and it is extremely easy to navigate what seems like an extremely large library. The library also accepts non-residents as patrons, with very few impediments compared to the availability of services for Schaumburg cardholders. From food to a fireplace, DVDs to international books, and computers to special programs, STDL seems to have everything a patron could want in a library.

I have been to this library before. This is definitely one of the most impressive libraries in the area. Especially the kids section with the enchanted forest scene.
This libarry looks really impressive. I couldn't believe how they had "themed" areas based to different ages and that they had over 200 staff working at the library!
I am completely amazed at this library. The children's section really seemed like it would attract children from all areas. I know that if I had kids and knew about the Schaumburg Library I would definately bring them there. It is a great way to get kids to like reading and libraries. I was also really impressed with the huge collection in the movie area. I really think that the idea for the tean area is extremely creative.
All I can say about both the library as well as the blog is.. wow. I can't believe how much information both contains. The library is absolutely amazing! They definitely cater to the needs of everyone. I definitely think my favorite areas would be the movie area and the kids area. I also think I would be a bit overwhelmed at first, yet still feel at home in this library.
